Reiki Training
Reiki is a powerful healing technique, and is also a very easy skill to learn. There are many benefits to receiving training in Reiki, whether you wish to use it for your own personal path to health and wellness, help your friends and family, or even to start your own practice in the healing arts as a Reiki practitioner.
Reiki is taught at 3 levels in the tradition of the Usui Reiki system.
Level 1:
Learn to channel the universal life force energy for healing on a physical level. Students learn and are attuned to the first symbol, Cho-Ku-Rei, which is used to focus and channel energy from the source. This level is well suited for those who want to learn more about both the practice, and self healing. It is a great skill for doing hands-on healing. Students also learn the history, the principles and the precepts of Reiki and how to apply them in their Reiki practice.
Training takes place on one or two days (depending on preference) with follow up sessions and additional technique training over the following weeks.
Level 2:
Learn to harness two new symbols and channel Reiki energy for mental and emotional healing, and for healing from a distance. At this level students will learn and be attuned to two new symbols Sei-Hei-Ki and Han-Sha-Ze-Sho-Nen. This level is great for those who are really serious and want to take their practice further, and for those who wish to use Reiki in their professional practice. At this level the students also learn more in depth concepts about the principles and precepts and explore connections with the spiritual realms and the guides and guardian spirits who assist us in our path.
Training takes place on one or two days (depending on preference) with follow up sessions and additional technique training over the following weeks.
Level 3 (and Master level):
Learn to channel Reiki for manifestation, cellular regeneration, protection, connection with the ascended Reiki Masters and more. At level three, students are attuned to the Master symbol Dai-Ko-Myo which has multiple purposes, including calling in a pillar of light and facilitating cellular regeneration. This is the final symbol and once students have been attuned to it they are ready to prepare to become teachers of Reiki should they choose to do so. Some students may not wish to teach Reiki, but for those who do, this level has been split into two portions. In the second portion after some time practicing with all the symbols and various different meditation techniques, students will learn the Dragon Breath and their Master level training will be completed.
This process is divided, to better serve the students and to honor and respect the sacred energy and responsibility of becoming a Master teacher of Reiki. The training for the first portion of level 3 takes place on one or two days (depending on preference) with follow up sessions and additional technique training over the following weeks. The final portion of the Master level takes place after students have practiced and honed their skills. This may take months, or as long as a year, and depends on the individual and their comfort level. The length of this process is decided upon by the student and the teacher together, from a place of mutual support and respect.
Anyone who has the desire to heal and to help others heal can become a Reiki practitioner, and Reiki is different from many other modalities in that one can begin practicing Reiki the moment one receives an attunement. Months or years training in school are not necessary. Training in Reiki is also priced very reasonably, making it accessible to a wide range of students, regardless of their budget.
(Those students who choose to take level three but don't plan to teach Reiki can do so at a cost of $300 for the level 3 attunement)
